We are pleased to announce that the construction of the 9 MW wind farm "VP Alibunar 1" has begun. This project represents another step towards achieving our goal - promoting renewable energy sources and creating a more sustainable future. The wind farm "Alibunar 1" (9 MW) is the property of the Balkan Electric company, which our group managed from the time it was founded until the construction permit was obtained, and in 2022 it was handed over to the Slovenian investor, the Rudis company.
Wind farm "VP Alibunar 1" is located in the beautiful region of Alibunar, which is characterized by favorable conditions for the production of energy from the wind. Its planned power of 9 MW will enable the production of clean energy, and the estimated annual production is 27,000 MWh, which is enough to power about 5,400 homes, while reducing the emission of harmful gases and contributing to environmental protection.
In the construction of the "VP Alibunar 1" wind farm, wind turbines from the Chinese manufacturer Windey, with a total individual power of 3MW, are used for the first time in Serbia and Europe. We pay great attention to every step in order to ensure the safety of workers and the protection of the environment. Our team of experts conducts all the necessary technical and environmental studies to ensure the optimal location and achieve the best results.
The completion of the construction of the "VP Alibunar 1" wind park is expected by the end of 2023. After that, the wind farm will be put into operation, which will make a significant contribution to diversifying the energy mix and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
MFG is proud to be part of this innovative project that contributes to the transition to a sustainable energy system. We believe that the "VP Alibunar 1" wind farm will become a symbol of progress in the field of renewable energy and an inspiration for further projects.
